TOASTING TIMES

MAY 2006 Number 5

Welcome Mike Clavet, Director Technical Service.
The latest news from the Belleco Corporate office is the addition of our old friend Mike Clavet . Belleco is extremely pleased to announce that Mike Clavet has agreed to come on board as our Director Technical Services . As you may remember Mike has 20 plus years in the field of foodservice equipment that from his position of Service manager at Holman. Along with the Belleco story, Mike brings a host of opportunities for all of us. Please join us in making Mike feel at home with Belleco.

In additional to Mike Clavet, please join me in welcoming Roger Arbour into our Engineering department. Roger brings many years of Engineering experience to Belleco and specializes in Solid Works design software. Russ and Roger will work closely together to expand on the Belleco product lines of high quality toasters, ovens and warmers.

As you may have read in a previous report, we lost a most valuable friend and business partner. Jim Morse who was a 13 year veteran of Holman Cooking Equipment before signing on as a partner with Belleco lost a very short battle with Cancer. After only three weeks after being told he had Cancer, Jim passed away leaving behind his wife Cheryl, his daughter and three grand children. Jim will certainly be missed by all.

New & Current Products

Current Production : Conveyor Toasters (What dealers want to hear). Use this information when asked "so what makes Belleco better".

  • Conveyor belts that are 10 ½" and 14 ½" wide (wider than competitive models, a Belleco, Inc. advantage) Provides more room for oversized slices and improves toast coverage.
  • Most standard wiring material is rated 105 degree "C". Belleco has replaced (everywhere possible) to 250 degree "C" hi-temp wiring. Provides reduced down times due to dry rotted, cracked wires.
  • 18ga Heavy duty welded design. Provides durability with no warping or pulling of rivets or screws.
  • Hi-Temp Teflon bearings require no lubrication "EVER". Allows for smooth quiet operation with very little maintenance required.
  • JT2's and JT3's incorporate a "Fan Switch" that cools the unit when switched off. Most heat related service issues happen after the toaster is switched off and internal temps rise because the cooling fan stops. This Belleco feature keeps the fan on until the unit is completely cool. A real safety plus!

New/Unique Product -

  • "Counterveyor" Sandwich Toasters/Bakers JB-2&3H The team at Belleco has figured out the formula for formula for speedy sandwich toasting on the countertop without the need for a hood. Come see the new product at NRA 2006 in Chicago (booth 9211)
  • "Dawn2Dusk" Convertible Conveyor Toaster/Baker - JT2-HC & JT3-HC - This new product introduction was a huge success at NAFEM and represents the only piece of equipment in the industry that allows the operator to toast bread products in the AM as a front load/front return toaster. Then, in the afternoon and evening hours without the use of any tools or the addition of any parts, operators may convert their toaster into a pass-through oven for toasting sandwiches and/or baking small personal style pizzas. Cook menu items all day long, Dawn2Dusk"! You've got to see this to believe it and those who have seen it, have purchased it.
  • Bagel Toasters JT1-B with production up to 500 bagel halves/hr (great for coffee shops where only 120 volts is available) and JT2-B with production of up to 1200 bagel halves/hr (great for high volume bagel shops).
  • Heat lamps HL24 (24") HL36 (36") models available Spec sheets have been mailed. These models are available with Counter Top stands and/or Ceiling Mount brackets.
  • Accessory Packages : Key Lock Covers, Security Systems (Prison Package), Wall Mounting Brackets, 120's, 208's, 240's and all International Voltages.

Coming in July/August 2006: Conveyor Ovens - Small to Mid Sized for Pizza and Sandwiches. Belt sizes from 10 1/2" to 20".

We apologize for the delay in this product introduction but as you can imagine, with the loss of our Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing some things tended to slow down a bit. However, we are back on track and with a little more patience and a speedy ETL project, we will be ready to go soon.

We invite your valuable recommendations for product lines that will complement our offerings and serve to grow your commission base.
